WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
MISSIONS AND ATTRIBUTIONS
As a specialized educator, you will help all people in need, including unsuitable people (children, adolescents, adults) to become independent in order to better integrate into society. Thus, your missions will be to preserve and restore autonomy through socio-educational activities (outings, workshops, tutoring, help with integration, etc.); to accompany, help and organize daily life as well as to promote the social integration of the people collected
THE REQUIRED SKILLS:
As a future educator you will come to the aid of extremely varied audiences. There are many places and ways to intervene. In addition, the people being followed are often in great pain. As a result, you are known to be a very versatile person. Confronted with often dramatic and always complex situations, you are endowed with a solid psychological balance, a sense of reality. In other words, you have a good personal balance. You know how to be persistent and know how to listen to others, while remaining flexible and firm in your decisions. On the other hand, you have notions to help the other build themselves. Finally, being a specialized educator requires a real interest in social and human problems. You will therefore also need to be able to build life projects with people in difficulty to develop their capacities for socialization, autonomy and social and professional integration.
