What are the objectives of the evaluation of an intern ?
The evaluation of intern aims to check whether the trainee has or is developing the skills and aptitudes allowing him to access the training concerned.
This evaluation will therefore situate the student's level of learning.
The diploma, for its part, will validate the acquired knowledge.
To do this, the internship supervisor e t internship tutor will co mpose the jury before which the trainee will support his internship report.
How is the internship evaluation composed? ?
At the end of the internship, the intern and the internship supervisor will carry out an internship report. As such, an evaluation sheet will be completed by the internship supervisor which will allow the student's potential to be diagnosed in relation to his educational project.
The evaluation sheet is often an evaluation grid which consists of :
the contact details of the host company, the intern and the school,
as well as the name of the persons in charge (internship supervisor and internship tutor).
She also resumes :
the subject of the internship,
the duration (date from ... to ...),
the diploma prepared.
The evaluation grid determines several evaluation criteria which are rated from 1 to 5 or from A to E, such as :
1 or A : Exceptional,
2 or B : Very good,
3 or C : Average,
4 or D : Insufficient,
5 or E : Not assessed or not applicable.
The general behavior of the student and his professional aptitudes will therefore be noted as follows: :
the general behavior :
punctuality,
attendance,
his interpersonal skills
his behavior towards staff,
its reliability,
its quality of expression
technical knowledge for the job,
the quality of the work accomplished,
method and organization,
the responsibility : initiative, autonomy, decision-making,
creativity,
the quality of interventions with partners (customers, suppliers) : if that is part of its mission.
Then comes the overall assessment of the trainee which is accompanied by one or more comments.
The document will be returned by the internship supervisor to the internship tutor of the student's educational institution.
At the end of the internship, the company will also give the intern an internship certificate which will mention :
the duration,
the place of performance,
the activities that were carried out.
At the end of the internship, an internship certificate will be sent to the intern. He must keep it preciously.
